Pagewell Access: accessibility audits for online stores
An audit of your store against the web accessibility standard (WCAG), with a fix list your developer can work from.
What you get
- An audit of your store's main pages (up to 10 page types) and checkout against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA.
- Automated checks and a keyboard walk-through first, then screen-reader testing (NVDA and VoiceOver) and a final sign-off.
- A report your developer can work from: every issue, where it is, which WCAG rule it breaks, how serious it is and how to fix it.
- One re-test of the fixed items within 30 days.
Price
$1,500 fixed, half before work starts and half at delivery, in about two weeks.
Monthly re-testing after the audit: $800 a month, three-month minimum, then month to month. Each month: a re-test of the checkout and the top page types, testing of up to 5 new or changed pages, fix guidance by email and a dated report of what was tested, what is open and what was fixed.
What isn't included
Legal advice. A site is never called "ADA compliant" or "certified" here (no such certification exists), and an audit can't promise how any claim ends. If you have a claim, talk to your attorney first; I can work with them or with you, whichever they prefer.
Who I am
Pagewell Access is run by its founder, Prateek Agarwal: an engineer (IIT Delhi, computer science; ex-Amazon, Microsoft) and former B2B software product manager.
